Select the device below for instructions on using Woodforest Mobile Deposit.

Follow the steps below to use Woodforest Mobile Deposit on your iPhone®.

Getting Started

You'll need the following in order to begin using Woodforest Mobile Deposit on your iPhone®.

  • iPhone iOS 4.3+.
  • The current version of the Woodforest Mobile Banking app.
  • Enrolled in Woodforest Online Services.
  • An eligible Woodforest checking or saving account.

Once you have the above you are ready to begin using Woodforest Mobile Deposit.

Note: If you have upgraded to the current version of Woodforest Mobile, you will be required to register your device again.  Refer to the Mobile Banking page for more information including iPhone® First Time Login Instructions.

  

Accessing Mobile Deposit

Log into Online Services from the Woodforest Mobile app on your iPhone®.

You can access Woodforest Mobile Deposit two ways:

1. Select Mobile Deposit from the menu displayed on the Home screen.

    - or -

2. Select the Mobile Deposit icon found on the bottom toolbar.

     The Mobile Deposit screen displays.

 Setting Up Mobile Deposit

The Mobile Deposit screen provides two options:

1. Make a Deposit

    - and -

2. Deposit History.

The first time you use Mobile Deposit you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions.

After reviewing the terms and conditions, select Accept if you agree

- or -

select Cancel if you do not agree to the terms and conditions and do not wish to use Mobile Deposit at this time.

Making a Mobile Deposit

1. Select Make a Deposit. The Deposit screen displays.

2. Select Deposit To. Scroll down through the accounts displayed and select the account into which you wish to deposit the check and select Done.

The account you selected displays in the Deposit To field.

3. Select Amount. Enter the amount of the check.

Note: Your daily and monthly limits for the selected account display below the amount.

You are now ready to take pictures of your check!

Taking a Picture of Your Check

1. Select Front to capture an image of the front of your check.

Your mobile device camera opens. Take a picture of the front of your check.  For best results:

  • Place the front of the check on a dark and non-reflective surface.
  • Flatten out the check.
  • Make sure the entire check is displayed in the camera box. Landscape may work best to take the picture.

2. Touch the camera icon to take a picture of the check.

3. Select Back to capture an image of the back of your check following the guidelines above.  Be sure you have signed your check and write "For deposit only into Woodforest Account _______", entering your account number.

Important: Ensure you take a picture of the entire back of the check, not just the top, endorsed section.  If you submit a deposit with only a partial image of the check, the system will automatically reject the check.

Verify

Submitting Your Deposit

1. Once you have taken a clear image of the front and back of the check, select Next to verify your deposit information is correct.

2. Select Submit to send your document for processing.  The message "Deposit Received" will display once it has been successfully submitted.

3.  You will receive a Mobile Deposit Received Alert email, confirming your deposit has been received.

AndroidTM User Guide

Follow the steps below to use Woodforest Mobile Deposit on your AndroidTM device.

Getting Started

You'll need the following in order to begin using Woodforest Mobile Deposit on your AndroidTM device.

  • The current version of the Woodforest Mobile Banking app.
  • Enrolled in Woodforest Online Services.
  • An eligible Woodforest checking or saving account.

Once you have the above you are ready to begin using Woodforest Mobile Deposit.

Note: If you have upgraded to the current version of Woodforest Mobile, or if this is your first time logging in, you will be required to register your device.  Refer to the Mobile Banking page for more information including AndroidTM First Time Login Instructions.

  

Accessing Mobile Deposit

Log into Online Services from the Woodforest Mobile app on your AndroidTM device.

Press the Menu key.

Select Deposit from the menu displayed on the screen.

The Mobile Deposit screen displays.

 Setting Up Mobile Deposit

The Mobile Deposit screen provides two options:

1. Make a Deposit

    - and -

2. Deposit History.

Important: Ensure you take a picture of the entire back of the check, not just the top, endorsed section.  If you submit a deposit with only a partial image of the check, the system will automatically reject the check.
