Woodforest National Bank Branch in Woodforest Community Hosted an Open House with Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cuttings

Montgomery County, Texas - Octubre 26, 2021 - An open house reception was recently held to celebrate the new Woodforest National Bank^® branch in the Woodforest Development community at 895 Fish Creek Thoroughfare in Montgomery, Texas.

Representatives from the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce were also present to officiate the new branch with ribbon cuttings.

The new building features approximately 22,000 square feet of space which includes 4,000 square feet dedicated to the bank branch, 3,488 square feet for Woodforest Charitable Foundation, and tenant space of 10,000 square feet for tenant leases.

Jay Dreibelbis, President and CEO, Woodforest National Bank, welcomed the 75+ guests, noting the bank’s recent 40^th anniversary and attributing its success to keeping its roots grounded in Texas.

“With over 760 branches in 17 states today, we remain rooted in Montgomery County,” said Dreibelbis. “We still value operating our bank like a family-owned business, especially as we continue to expand our commercial banking and retail branch presences beyond the state. Woodforest has a lot of history, and we look forward to making more history in the future, particularly as we embark upon the opening of our newly-constructed building in downtown Conroe.”

Amy Sechelski, office manager for Woodforest Charitable Foundation, added, “We are grateful to have moved our foundation’s home offices into this beautiful new building. Since 2005, Woodforest Charitable Foundation has assisted more than 200 worthwhile charities across 17 states with over $20 million in contributions. Our foundation looks forward to more giving for many years to come.”

The Woodforest Charitable Foundation is dedicated to enriching communities through partnerships with charitable organizations that focus on social and public service programs. The new branch is also home to Woodforest Wealth Strategies providing insightful guidance from highly experienced financial advisors.
